Hi there, I’m Hannah, the founder of Becoming Therapy Center.
I’m a mom of two, a proud military spouse, and a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly a decade of experience across a variety of mental health settings, including private practice, military family services, and school-based and university counseling.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University and am certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health, family resilience, couples therapy (Gottman Method Level II), trauma treatment (EMDR), and mood and anxiety disorders. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral therapies with attachment-based work, mindfulness, and self-compassion to support meaningful, lasting growth.
Clients often describe me as kind, authentic, thorough, and optimistic. Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually keeping up with my energetic kiddos—spending time outdoors, exploring kid-friendly activities around Middle Tennessee, and supporting local businesses.
I’m so glad you’re here.
