SPECIALTIES

I support individuals and couples through life’s most pivotal seasons — from growing your family to growing into yourself.

Pregnancy, Postpartum, & Parenthood

My practice is dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate the emotional complexities of becoming and being a parent. I understand how challenging it can be when difficulties arise during this period, especially when these struggles are so seldom talked about.

You don’t have to suffer in silence. Together, we’ll work through the tough moments, so you don’t have to face them alone.

    • Planning for a family

    • Fertility difficulties and trying to conceive

    • Pregnancy concerns and complications

    • Perinatal Depression, Anxiety, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

    • Perinatal loss and reproductive trauma

    • NICU experiences

    • Postpartum adjustment and “baby blues”

    • New moms, new dads, and new parents

    • Single parenting and blended families

    • Mom rage, mom guilt, and mom shame

    • Parenting responses and stress

    • Effective family communication

  • This is a space where you don’t have to explain why it’s hard. You’re held here — with compassion, without judgment. With specialized training in perinatal mental health and family resilience, and years of experience working in mental health settings with families and youth, I offer gentle support and encouragement as you navigate this transformational time. Using evidence-based methods, mindfulness, and self-compassion, we’ll work together to manage big feelings and develop practical strategies. My goal is to help you traverse these experiences with empathy and confidence, creating tools that truly work for you and your family.

Marriage, Relationships, & Attachment

Relationships can be incredibly rewarding, but they can also present challenges that leave you feeling misunderstood, distant, or disconnected from those you care about. I work with couples and individuals seeking to improve communication, rebuild connection, or navigate major transitions.

    • Marital and premarital counseling

    • Communication breakdowns

    • Managing conflict with care

    • Emotional disconnection or loneliness

    • Negative cycles and repeated patterns

    • Intimacy and closeness concerns

    • Life transitions as a couple or family

    • Partner conflict and co-parenting

    • Attachment styles and needs

    • Navigating “perpetual problems”

    • Family closeness and boundaries

    • Shifting roles and identity

    • Coping with the end of a relationship

  • In therapy, we’ll create a safe and supportive space where you can express your feelings openly. I’ll guide you in reflecting on past patterns and understanding current relationship dynamics. From there, we’ll work together to foster a more supportive, compassionate, and connected relationship. You’ll learn practical skills to improve communication, manage conflicts, and deepen emotional intimacy, all while addressing the emotional underpinnings that drive your interactions. Together, we’ll develop strategies that support a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

Stress, Anxiety & Life Transitions

When worry takes the wheel, it often drives you down a path of avoidance, rumination, or overwhelm. It can feel like you’re no longer in control, with your fears steering your reactions. Whether you're dealing with persistent worry, the weight of daily stressors, or navigating a significant life transition, my goal is to help you get back in the driver’s seat.

    • Excessive anxiety and worry

    • Feeling on edge or overwhelmed

    • Racing, ruminative, or intrusive thoughts

    • Fear, panic, or panic attacks

    • Social anxiety and avoidance

    • Sleep disturbances and fatigue

    • Difficulties managing stress

    • Military family life and deployment stress

    • Major life and role transitions

    • Low self-confidence or self-doubt

    • Challenges with coping or problem-solving

  • In therapy, we’ll gain insight into what’s sending your anxiety and stress into overdrive. Then, we’ll develop practical strategies that allow you to respond to these concerns with intention, rather than being led by them. You’ll learn to navigate challenges with greater confidence, find peace in uncertainty, and move forward with a sense of purpose, no matter what life throws your way.
